Brea traffic accidents occur often. This makes sense, due to the population of 40,000 plus in the community and the local Brea car accident attorney recognizes this fact. The community leaders of this Orange County, California city have become resolute in reducing the amount of car accidents in this OC city that includes retail centers, like the Brea Mall, and the redeveloped downtown area.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, between the years of 2001 and 2003 there were eight fatal car accidents in Brea. This equals approximately 2.3 fatal vehicle crashes for each 10,000 people in Brea, and objectionable to city officials, even though it was a lower amount of traffic fatalities nationwide.
Officials in Brea were able to reduce the amount of car accident fatalities in 2006, according to the California Highway Patrol Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System. This data showed that there were 260 people injured in vehicle crashes there were no car crash related fatalities. In other traffic accidents, there were five people injured in motorcycle accidents, seventeen bicyclists injured and seventeen pedestrians injured. Another thirty injuries were caused in DUI crashes according to the data. During 2007 there was one auto crash that resulted in a fatality, and Brea motor vehicle accident attorneys know that city officials made the changes that helped to reduce car crashes.
There are some ways that an effort has been made to reduce Brea's car collision rates is by setting up routine DUI and driver's license checkpoints at intersections that are known to be areas at higher risk for accidents. These areas include Birch Street in the Brea Mall area, Imperial Highway known as Freeway 90 in the areas between Kramer and Harbor Boulevards and Lambert Road in the vicinity of the 57 Freeway.
The DUI checkpoints target impaired drivers to keep them off the streets, by making DUI arrests, issuing citations and these sobriety checkpoints help to educate the public about driving under the influence. This helps reduce hit and run collisions. One of the ways the DUI checkpoint is educational is rather than people driving under the influence they, are using sober designated drivers. The local Brea car accident attorney recognizes this can keep the roads safer and prevent injuries or deaths from motorcycle accidents, bicycle and vehicle ejection that can result in eye injuries, laceration and wrongful deaths.
The police department of Brea also serves the city of Yorba Linda, in the foothills of Orange County, with a combined population of approximately 160,000. Brea and Yorba Linda are both accessed by two of California's major freeways, the 57 Freeway in Orange and the 91 Freeway in Riverside. Brea and Yorba Linda are both protected by the Brea Police Department and the department's Traffic Division, whose duty it is to maintain safe traffic flow on the roadways for the residents.
When you are seriously injured in Brea, California and need an experienced Orange County personal injury law firm, you need to retain a Brea personal injury attorney who specializes in Orange County car accidents that result in wrongful death, spinal cord injuries and brain injuries. We are that law firm.

Oh Baby, What A Bicycle Seat…topeak's Baby Seat Ii Offers Superior Safety And Ease Of Use
NORTH ATTLEBORO, MASS…
When it comes to taking your child out for a ride on your bicycle, you always want to err on the side of caution. With many child bicycle seats, however, you can spend more time setting up and adjusting the seat—and then removing it—than time out on the road. And even then you're not always certain of how safe the seat is. Topeak's newest child seat, BabySeat™ II, installs and removes in seconds, while offering a six-point harness for the utmost in child safety.
Baby Seat II's other safety features include a new wrap around seat design with integrated roll bar that creates a cocoon of protection. In addition, BabySeat II features a suspension system between the seat and the rack that helps isolate children from bumps and jolts—and that creates a more pleasurable ride for grownups and kids.
"When it comes to taking your child out for a ride, your number one priority is their safety," said Neal Todrys, president of Todson, Inc, Topeak's U.S. distributor.
"To that end, the BabySeat II has passed the most stringent European and Japanese safety standards,"
The BabySeat II includes a tubular aluminum rack, which is disc brake compatible, and features fast and easy BabySeat removal. That makes transitioning from a bike ride with your child to running a few errands an activity that literally takes seconds.
Adds Todrys, "Like a number of Topeak's products, the BabySeat II works with Topeak's quick trac system. So, removing the seat and snapping on Topeak's Trolley Tote, wire baskets or any other bags takes a matter of seconds, too."
Light in weight (6.9 lbs), BabySeat II is molded from sturdy, engineering grade plastic and can hold a child up to 48 pounds—larger than your average pre-schooler. With dimensions of 23" x 15 ½" x 30 ½" and adjustable foot rests with straps, the BabySeat II can also safely accommodate most of the taller pre-schoolers as well.
"When cycling is your passion, it's difficult to just put it aside once you start a family. With the BabySeat II, you really don't have to," said Todrys. "With the BabySeat II, you can safely introduce your child to cycling without the fuss. It really is the best of both worlds for cycling families."

Front disc brake sticking on my sons bicycle tried oiling it but no joy any ideas?
1st off, never even let oil touch the brake pads or braking surface. To fix this you'll need to loosen the brake cable or adjust the pads. It would be easiest to loosen the brake cable, all you need is an allen wrench usually 8 mm.
