How dangerous can a curved bicycle handlebar be?
I've just purchased an old-timer road bike with slightly curved handlebar, it's going down to the left side a little bit (you have to concentrate to spot it, but it's there). The question is whether I should try to straighten it up, leave it that way, or not by any means ride the bike at all until I change it entirely? It's made of aluminum, so I'm just wondering if it could break during a ride or anything...

Once they are bent, aluminum bars should not be straightened. Aluminum can break once it has been bent, so you bars should be replaced. A broken handlebar is very dangerous, you lose control of your bike and it is very likely you will hit the ground head first
