Are you sick of replacing your broken or bent levers? I know I am, and there is a cure for that. It's easy to break a clutch or brake lever if you do a lot of woods riding, or just happen to tip over often. Either way, it's not fun when something like this happens because it ruins your day of riding. I got a pair of Cycra Pro-Bend Hand Guards with bark busters on my KTM. They are the most protection you can get out of hand guards.
Bark busters are a must if you do a lot of trail riding. With them on, not only are my hands blocked from hitting trees, but the metal bars will protect the shiny levers on my bike. I don't know about you, but that will save me some pain and dough at the same time.
The plastic shields are a bonus, in my opinion, because most hand guards don't have both bark busters and plastic guards. The guards are big and strong enough to protect your hands from roost, mud, rocks, and other things that dirt bikes throw up at you.
Just a few more reasons why I like the Cycra Pro-Bends so much...
The center reach clamp makes the hand guards secure, as well as giving my hands all the room they need (something that I was worried about when looking at hand guards).
The plastic shields are replaceable, so if they crack from hitting a tree, you can just slap on some new ones for cheap!
Installation is so simple and easy, a caveman.......never mind. Putting these on my bike is like spreading peanut butter on a PB&J sandwich. You just insert it into the handle bar end, then adjust the center reach clamp to your liking and bolt it on!
These Pro-Bend Handguards are available for 7/8 and 1 1/8 handlebars, plus the center reach allows them to be used and basically any bars you have. They come in eight different colors to match your bike or gear, and the stickers are easy to peel off if you don't like the look of them.
I like my current ones so much that I think I'm going to by some replacement plastic shields to match my next bike!

Comparing Bike Cup Holders
Sometimes it's the little things that make a difference. This even includes bike cup holders. Taking an afternoon spin on your beach cruiser should be a relaxing, enjoyable activity, but if you bought a bike cup holder that keeps tipping or spinning, you may get frustrated when you lose that nice, cold drink you wanted to bring along. Some cup holders are sturdy, convenient and reliable while others are made of cheap materials and just don't work well. It may not be a huge investment, but when you plunk down $25 or more on something, you don't want to have to replace it after two trips out on your bike.
The most inexpensive bike cup holders are usually simple metal or plastic rings that are designed to tighten around your drink. These are often made of some flimsy metal or a cheap grade of plastic that's so thin it quickly breaks. Whether they clip onto the center rail of your bike or onto the handlebars, skip these models. They aren't worth the money.
There is a lot more variety in the top of the handle bar models of cup holder. These vary more widely in price and style, so you can probably find one that looks nice. These cup holders attach to your handlebars with the actual cup holder sitting on top of the bars. There are some advantages to these. Some of them have insulation to keep your drink cooler or warmer longer, which is nice for a long bike ride. You can get these bike cup holders in different colors if you like to coordinate your accessories to your beach cruiser.
On the other hand, since these are perched on top of the handlebars, they can easily flip or slip to one side, spilling your drink everywhere. Some people also complain that if you don't put just the right size cup or can into one of these holders, the can or cup can get stuck or be difficult to remove. Since you only have one hand to reach for your drink while you're biking, you don't want to have to wrestle it out of the cup holder. Some cup holders that fit on the top of the handlebars can also get in the way if you want to install a basket or bell to your cruiser bike.
The bike cup holders that are most reliable clip to the handlebars, but hold the cup or can alongside the handlebars rather than on top. Top quality ones will be made of sturdy, hard plastic with metal screws. They 're easy to install and don't interfere with your being able to add anything like a bell or basket, to your handlebars.
These bike cup holders feature a wrap-around style that adjusts to hold a variety of can and cup sizes securely. A bottom plate keeps drinks from slipping out and steadies your drink so there's no spilling. It's easy to take a drink and place the cup or can into the holder because of the easy, snap-in and snap-out design. We recommend this style because it's versatile, strong and easy to install and use. Even better is the price. You can find these bike cup holders for less than twenty bucks from the right beach cruiser bike shop.

Why does a bicycle for a male have a bar, while a female's bike doesn't?
You know, the bar that goes from under the handlebars to below the seat. I mean, wouldn't it be more logical if it were reversed? Is is there something I'm missing here? Serious answers only, please!
I think the female bike was originally designed for modesty.
They did not include a bar on the female bike because she would have to kick up her leg and show what was under her skirt and this at that time was not lady-like and unacceptable.
