Need Help On Changing Parts on my Bike! MTB not BMX!?

Firstly, you need a peddle spanner. This is made from thinner metal than an ordinary spanner.
Lean your bike up against a wall with a drainpipe or corner to trap your other peddle in. This will stop your crank from rotating. Grab the crank firmly with one hand and, on the left hand side of the bike, rotate the spanner clockwise. Loosen the peddle and turn your bike around. Repeat the procedure on the right hand peddle, only this time rotate the spanner antit - clockwise.
