Bicycle for my 12yr old daughter?
My daughter needs a bicycle to ride to and from school. I found one at Jax bicycle center website, it is a Gary Fisher Girl's PreCaliber 24. This is the description:

No it will be small I have a kids specialized 24 inch for my ten year old. It is getting a tad small at this point. I am thinking she might need a bigger bike if she grows any more.
I would go to a bike shop and ride some bikes with her. It will give you an idea of the fit firsthand. Buy a bike over the net is not a bad thing if you know what you want and what fits you. There are many advantages of buying from a shop. Adjustments, test rides, proper fitting equipment etc
Kona used to make some smaller women's bikes. I am not sure if that is still the case. Ask your local bike shop for help
