One of the best skills you can learn when riding a pit bike is popping a wheelie. Its pretty much the most tried trick newbie riders want to learn when first buying a Pit bike.
The principle and strategy once understood for popping a wheelie is quite easy just the implementation stage is the most challenging but I'll give you some quick tips which will make you a expert in no time.
5 Fast Tips to Popping a wheelie
Don't be scared to fall off Sounds obvious but no pain no gain. Your not going to get seriously hurt maybe a few bumps and bruisers but its all part of it. You need understand that if you are scared you will never master this trick because its inevitable you will come off. Wear the proper protective clothing like pants, helmet, pads, boots.
Balancing is the key When you start off I recommend you use second gear for the main duration of the wheelie. After you move from first to second gear lean back putting you body weight towards the rear of the seat. Your bottom should be almost to the end of the seat so you center of gravity is over halfway. You must lean back enough so the front wheel is greater that 45 degrees.
Using Your foot brakes to balance Keep leaning back and slowly increasing the throttle. You are trying to find the balance point of the bike. If you find your going to back flip don't worry a easy way to combat this is to either put your feet down and let go of the bike or tap on the rear foot brake and it will lower the front wheel. If the bike falls don't worry it won't break just maybe a few scratches. Another way is to drag you feet on the ground as you initiate the wheelie. This is kind of cheating but its a good way to learn. When you can balance then put your feet on the pegs.
Holding your revs in the Wheelie to keep momentum If you don't keep the revs up the front wheel will drop down because you lost momentum and speed. You can correct this by changing up a gear to third but this is a little more advanced and you must master the balancing first before attempting this stage.
Holding the wheelie for a extending time with Gears changers Changing gears keeps your revs up but additional skill is need because your on the back wheel while changing gears. Again this is similar to "Keeping your momentum" and for the more advanced rider. You can wheelie for miles if you change gears. I know riders who can wheelie for 3-4 miles on a Pit bike. Yes amazing I must admit.
Super little trick for newbie riders: If you want to pop wheelies for miles then use this trick. Well its not really a trick more like a modification to your bike. Keep the revs up to max and don't be scared to use your foot brake allot. What we are going to do is attach a front mounted brake on the handle bars for the rear. Because your the foot brake is only small on pit bikes its harder find sometimes. Your feet will slip during riding so when you need to use the foot brake to prevent back flipping your foot could slip. Take off the foot brake assembly pedal all together so there is no foot back pedal. Remove the existing hydraulic cable and buy a longer one similar to the length of your front brakes but it must reach from the rear brake assembly to your front handle bars. You need to buy a front brake housing assembly for the left hand side. You can source them off eBay very cheaply $20-$30. It must be the left hand side because obviously the right hand side is needed for the throttle. A Py90 or Quad assembly will do the trick. Make sure it matches the bolt diameter of the hydraulic brake line so will match the both brake housings. Bleed the brakes so it works. Now you have front mounted Rear brakes. Wheelie at you hearts on content and when you feel your going to back flip tap on the left hand brake and your front wheel will immediately come down
(make sure all the parts are properly fitted by a qualified mechanic)

3 Best Corded Random Orbital Sanders
When you're searching for the best of the best look no further than these three random orbital sanders form Festool, Bosch and, Porter-Cable. With uncommon innovation and the stamp of lasting, trailblazing manufacturers, these models will breath new life into your sanding projects while also energizing users with smooth, high-performance.
Festool's ETS 125 EQ random orbit sander is a stunning and highly effective sanding machine. Serious woodworkers truly rejoice at this high-performance, sander that, while small, performs like a miracle to smooth out all of your rough patches. Ideal for one-handed sanding, the tool is extremely lightweight at only 2.4 lbs. Because of this lightweight and the sander's compact design, the tool is perfect for sanding from any position - extended vertical and overhead work is far less strenuous while also yielding uncommonly smooth results. With the finest sanding stroke at 5/64" (2.0mm) the 125 leaves both pre-sanding and finishing jobs surprisingly flush and smooth, and with a shockingly effective jet-stream dust extraction system, the tool delivers clean finishes and always clean operation. With a meticulously concentrated stream of air, this system ensures smoother, more flawless finishes and increases the life of your pads, abrasives, and the tool as well. The sander is highly balanced with low vibration for smooth operation and superfine finishes, and with variable speeds and a fast break stop, the tool is simple to control throughout any degree of use. It is hard to put this tool down and even harder to pick up another once you've experienced the Festool difference.
On another hand, Bosch's 3725DEVS random orbit sander/polisher is one of the more veritable tools on the market today offering craftsmen a multipurpose power tool that out performs much of its competition. The sander features a pad that both orbits and rotates to duplicate meticulous hand-sanding for the most smooth, perfectly blended surface finishes. The tool has an impressive 3.3 amp motor with variable speeds ranging from 4,5000 - 12,000 OPM. This ensures you'll always have the most adequate speed to compliment each workpiece or task. Being smooth and powerful, the sander is ideal for both delicate fine finishing, or aggressive removal, and built with a die-cast aluminum gear housing and exclusive dual-bearing pad mount, the 3725DEVS is long-lasting and offers extremely low vibration operation. Additionally, its through-the-pad dust extraction system sucks dust and debris away from the work surface to enhance precision and fine-finishing; by consequence, it also increases tool and accessory longevity. The tool is comfortable to operate and its front handle can be easily removed to provide greater sanding access in corners and tight spaces.
Additionally, Porter-Cable's 390K (5") low profile random orbit sander kit is a truly dreamy little sander. Providing craftsmen with optimized power, speed, and control over the most delicate and most aggressive projects the tool is as versatile as it is handsome. Its 3.5 amp motor utilizes EnduraTech technology to extend the tool's life by a quite astounding margin and also ensures optimal performance and durability for the life of the tool. The sander's low profile design brings the body of the sander much closer to the workpiece producing a brilliantly smooth finish and providing you, the operator, with superior contact and control. The tool has variable speed settings from 7,000 - 12,000 OPM for the most optimized removal rate, and a consistently brilliant finish to a variety of materials. The tool's mechanical brake pad dramatically reduces spin-down time essentially eliminating the gouge factor from your projects, and with highly efficient dust collection options, ultra smooth finishes, and comfortable ergonomics, the sander is, well, a miracle machine.
Experiencing the high-performance of these random orbital sanders is something every craftsmen should strive for. Not only are these models smooth and comfortable to operate, but they yield continuously beautiful results that will impress and gladden you with every use.

A question for the harley mechanics, or anyone else that's dealt with hydraulic clutches?
I'm going over to a friends house this weekend to help him get his Polaris Sportsman 600 going again after sitting idle for a year while he worked out his divorce papers. Not a big deal, since I've worked on quads before and got them running fine for the owner. What I was wondering about was his Harley. After we got done talking about what needed to be done to the ATV, the subject turned to his ride over the past weekend on the HD. He said he pulled it out and changed all the engine and tranny fluids. Then I asked him if he flushed the brakes when he did that as well. He said no. The bike is about 15 years old and it still has the original fluid in the brake reservoir, and also the clutch. So to make a long story short I'm going to take care of that too while I'm there. The brakes won't present a problem, but I've never bled a hydraulic clutch. All of my bikes have been cable actuated, so I'm not quite sure of the steps involved. Any tips would be appreciated.
Same deal...they bleed just like brakes.Instead of the valve at the caliper, it should be at the slave cylinder.
