Removing the gold from the ground is just the first step in gold extraction. In order to isolate the precious metal, the mining companies use complex extraction processes. After the precious rock has been extracted from the ground, it is put in big machines called crushers. After the material has reached a road gravel consistency it is put yet in another machine this time a rotating drum until it becomes a fine slurry or a powder.
Afterward, the powder is mixed with water until it becomes pulp. This pulp is run through a series of leaching tanks. This process uses a chemical solvent that dissolves the gold. The most common solvent used by the companies is cyanide. Then the workers add small grains of carbon in the pulp. The glittering metal that was dissolved adheres to the carbon. After it is removed from the pulp, the carbon is put in a hot caustic solution that separates the precious metal from the carbon.
The gold now undergoes another process that is called electro-winning. With the help of this process, the chemicals from the precious metal are removed. Smelting is the final procedure that the yellow is submitted to. The metal is put in a furnace at about 2.100 degrees F (1.149 C). After the gold becomes liquid, it is taken out of the furnace and poured into solid bars called dore bars. These are low-purity bars that are then sent to refineries all over the world for further processing.
Gold has become a very sought after precious metal in our days. Specialists all advise us to change part of our savings into this precious metal. The yellow metal is a safe investment and it is also profitable. It cannot lose value as paper currencies and it is a safe haven for the ones that own it. Almost everybody can buy gold in our days. One can purchase precious metal by the gram or can invest in gold coins, shares or accounts.

The LED light bar qualities have to be leveraged
Manufacturers have managed to produce light bars that are progressively smaller. As such, as far as light requirements allow, users should take care to utilize as small an LED light bar as possible. With a smaller light bar, energy requirements will be less. Energy efficiency will always make an object more economical to use. Besides, lesser power consumption will translate into less carbon emissions and this is very important in this era of exploding threats from the greenhouse gas syndrome.
Too bright a light bar will always be a discomfort for other vehicles on the road causing various distractions like glare problems, moth effect etc. From this point of view also, it is always wiser to go in for a smaller LED light bar.
If possible, mount the LED light bar inside the vehicle, rather than on the roof of it. When there is a large light bar on top of the vehicle, the wind resistance of the host vehicle will be more and that will reduce its fuel efficiency. A vehicle with reduced fuel efficiency is an environmental hazard, besides being a drain on one’s pockets.
When a new emergency vehicle like a police vehicle or ambulance is being bought and the old one is being pensioned off, it is important to shift the LED light bar of the old vehicle into the new vehicle. An LED light bar on an average has a much longer life than a motor vehicle so that the possibility is that when the host vehicle gets superannuated the light bar is likely to be in the prime of youth. Packing it off to the junkyard together with its host of ten or maybe fewer years will be a financial hazard. At the price at which an LED light bar comes, using it for just ten years will not be cost effective at all.
When an emergency vehicle is parked in the middle of the road, or in other places where a vehicle is not expected to be parked, its LED light bar will have to go on blinking all throughout. At times this could be unavoidable, but a little adjustment could sometimes let the driver shift the vehicle to a place where the light could be switched off. This will, again, save power, and the parked vehicle will not create a problem for other vehicles.
And a last thing to remember is to use an LED light bar, even on a moving vehicle, only when it is absolutely necessary. Sometimes the job for which the police vehicle, or ambulance, or a voluntary firefighter is going, may not be an emergency though the vehicle user’s help might be necessary at the site. If so, the driver should take care not to switch on the light just because he has a right to. Then the other vehicles on the road will not be inconvenienced, energy can be saved, and the LED light bar can also be used for more years.

Big dude wants to buy a bike?
I am 6'4 250 lbs with a long torso (32" inseam). Road bikes are great, but too flexy, I need a bike with a long wheelbase, stiff, 46" horns standard, 25 cm wheels, external bearing bottom brackets, and adjustable stems or a comfort fit, and ability to put a rack on. Old school schwin touring bike I had was sooooo perfect but steel bikes are no more. Most off the shelf bikes are too compact. I think alum with carbon fork may be the best, but I am confused. Any other clysdales out there with tips for me? I am looking at the Giant defy (compact frame too short) the Fcr (not a bad ride, bars too narrow), Open to any Ideas. Thanks.
try this http://www.surlybikes.com/longhaul.html , but if you insist on the 10" wheels you may have to go with a unicycle.
