Gaming chair
These chairs are very popular among younger kids because of their size and their weight. Many people bring them out specifically for when they are playing games because of their small size and ability to be stored easily. The beauty of the gaming chair is that many of them come with built in speakers, head phone jacks, and other little accessory so you can get the most out of your gaming experience and be comfortable. The problem is that last part. Sometimes these chairs are not all that comfortable and sometimes are hard to balance. Depending on your body size and the type of gaming chair you get, they can be great or just wrong.
Stool
Some people swear by the bar stool as a gaming chair. I have to say they can be good for gaming when you have a large group of people and are playing a game with lots of player switching and competition. You don’t want to be sitting on a stool for too long as they get uncomfortable pretty fast. The upside is that they are usually a good height for playing games and they are easy to hop on and off of so other people can jump into the seat and play the game.
Couch
A solid, popular choice with its own upsides and downsides. The upside is comfort, of course, but the downside is that if you are playing with a wired controller they often don’t reach far enough to the couch. Also, sometimes the couch is too far away from the television set to properly see the nuances of the video game. Video games are different than watching TV or a movie and you often need to be a little closer to the screen to be able to hurdle the challenges of the game. A couch can be great if it is properly placed in distance from the television but if not it can only make your gaming more difficult.

My mother was sitting across from me on the leather lounge reading the newspaper, eyeing me occasionally. The air conditioner was turned up full blast only just making the room at a comfortable temperature. It was fifty-six degrees in Texas far too hot to be doing anything. I sat on the couch thinking about how to confront her about quite possibly the worse situation ever!
The air conditioning unit was loud and barely keeping the temperature cool enough in the hot Texas heat. My mother sat quietly on her leather lounge chair reading the newspaper. I was sitting anxiously across the room, thinking about how I could possibly confront her about a very difficult situation. She would eye me occasionally, but then again it could have just been my nerves.
