hi im a unfit 25 year old that bought a new mountian bike ,any tips regarding diet and equipment?
i cycled for 8 miles today ,i reli pushed my barrier ,anyone no a good distance 4 a beginger ?

Everyone has to go through butt training so don't rush out a buy a new saddle just yet it will take a couple of weeks. Start out with short ride and work you way up to longer ones. Your legs help to support your weight so when they get tired you butt has to carry the extra weight. One you build up the muscles you will feel better. You actually sit on the sit bones on your pelvis and that allows you thighs and butt to move freely. A big cushy seat can cause more pain by putting more pressure on soft places that shouldn't support your weight.
