Issues When you hire the Divorce Law
Group to represent your interest you can rest assured that the
Divorce Law Group will use all its skill and experience to vigorously
achieve your personalize divorce related goals and
objectives. If vigorous and personalized legal
representation is what you are seeking, the Divorce Law Group
provides good value for your legal fees. With this being
said, the Divorce Law Group is not inexpensive and there are any
number of law firms in the State that are less expensive.
Further, as with any business relationship there are several
issues that need to be understood at the outset for the
relationship to be a healthy and productive one.
Before any attorney / client relationship
exists a written Fee Agreement
must be entered into between the Divorce Law Group and the
client. The Divorce Law Group will not act on your behalf
until the Fee Agreement is signed and the Retainer
is paid to the Divorce Law Group.
The Fee Agreement sets for the terms of the
engagement and includes the Hourly
Rates of the Divorce Law Group as well as other
provisions. The Divorce Law Group will vigorously
represent the client's interests once the Fee Agreement has been
fully executed and the Retainer has been paid. However, it
is very important for the client to understand that the Retainer
account must be replenished with additional funds if it drops
below the agreed upon limit. The Divorce Law Group is
unable to continue to represent a client if the amount of the
Retainer drops below this agreed upon limit and will withdraw
from the case if the Retainer is not maintained at the agreed
upon level.
Further, if the client is unable to properly
pay for the legal services he or she seeks, this creates a
conflict between the Divorce Law Group and its own client.
As such, the issues change from what should be done to achieve
the client's goals and objectives to does the client have the
money to pay for this service and, worst yet, will the client
pay the bill once the Retainer has been exhausted. The
Divorce Law Group is not willing to allow this conflict occur as
it fatally harms the relationship between the Divorce Law Group
and its client.
As the Divorce Law Group is not in the
business of collecting money from its clients, it will not
represent any client who cannot afford the services
offered. This policy is for the client's protection as
well as the protection of the Divorce Law Group. For this
reason, the Divorce Law Group offers simple Divorce
Forms for your review and use if you are unable to afford
the services of the Divorce Law Group. In a further effort
to help those individuals that cannot afford full legal
representation, the Divorce Law Group offers Consultation
services if you are representing yourself and need a more
limited form of legal representation. The
Consultation services are just part of the full range of legal
services the Divorce Law Group provides its clients.
The Retainer which is paid by the client is
deposited into the client's Trust
Account and is used to pay legal fees and expenses incurred
on the client's behalf. The Divorce Law Group issues its
bills approximately every two weeks and the amount of the then
current bill is shown as being paid for out of the
Retainer. All transactions are shown in full detail on the
bill. Please review your bill carefully. We ask each
client to contact Divorce Law Group within thirty days of the
bill being issued to question or contest any bill entry.
This way your questions can be fully answered while the bill
entries are still fresh.
The Divorce Law Group looks forward to
representing you fully and vigorously. If you seek
personalized and vigorous representation, please feel free to contact
the Divorce Law Group.
