Carbon seat post question?
I have a track bike which I put into my car when i go to the velodrome. The best way to get it in the trunk is to take the saddle+seatpost off.
I just wanted to know if taking it off and putting it on too much will hurt the carbon fiber? Remember I do this a few times per week.
Also, will it hurt the frame when I tighten/loosen the clamp on the seat tube regularly?
The last time I went to the track I noticed the seatpost had moved down just a little bit. There's a lot of g-force when taking the turns...so is it ok to have the clamp really tight?

I forgot to add, the frame is 7005 aluminum.
There is a product that is made for carbon fibre seat posts to stay put better, don't remember the name, but check with your LBS to make sure you get the right product.
