Healthy Comfort Bike

Staying fit during the warmer months is easy. You find yourself outdoors, walking through the neighborhood, attending community and cultural events and fairs. Maybe you go camping, hiking or just ride your bicycle more. Once the weather turns colder, however, getting up the initiative to go outside and exercise can be become a much different story.

How many times have you worked out, gotten into shape, enjoyed being active all summer long, only to lose it all over the winter months? It is a common problem that now has a simple solution: whole body vibration and good, healthy habits.

Making Good Health A Habit

Good health is not an overnight success story. Good health is the result of many positive choices over a long period of time. Do not punish yourself simply because you cannot change your body in only a few days.

The first healthy habit you need to develop is to stay hydrated. This means consuming at least eight glasses of water each and every day. The next step is to pay attention to what you eat. Whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables and healthy oils, such as olive and canola oil, should make up the majority of your daily diet.

This means all those delicious Italian pasta dishes packed with tomatoes and broccoli are actually some of the healthiest meals around, if you use whole grain pasta instead of the "white starch" variety. Traditional Chinese and Japanese meals are also very healthy if you exchange the white rice for whole grain, brown rice. Whatever you are eating, take the time to chew and enjoy your food properly; it will help you to feel full sooner.

Keep Moving Your Body

You don't have to run a marathon to get healthy. Consider taking a nightly after dinner stroll around the block, using the stairs instead of an elevator, riding a bike or swimming a few laps. Whatever activities you enjoy, the important point is that you do them regularly to keep using your muscles. Every movement you make burns calories. As the blood flow to your muscles increases, your heart and lungs must work harder, which also burns calories. This is the basic premise behind the highly successful whole body vibration weight loss program.

Whole body vibration (WBV) uses the fact that increased circulation means the body burns more calories, no matter what you are doing. WBV machines generate whole body vibration, stimulating blood flow, increasing your heart rate and improving your entire cardiovascular system all while you enjoy the comfort, convenience and warmth of your home. You can use your vibration machine as you watch television, work on the computer or enjoy a good book.

Staying hydrated, eating a healthy diet and keeping your body in motion will provide you with long term health and fitness improvements. Using a whole body vibration machine can allow you to maintain your fitness level through the cold winter months without having to deal with bad weather or difficult roads.

You can use your whole body vibration machine as frequently as you need to and it won't require an extra room addition to your home. Many of us simply do not have the time or the dedication required to use a gym regularly. The whole body vibration machine provides you with the convenience, the privacy and ease of use you need to make it a regular part of your fitness program.

5 Healthy Ways To Lose Weight

The world is fascinated with weight loss, some for health reasons and others for cosmetic. No matter the reason, many people try harsh diets that never work, extreme exercise regimens that result in injuries or other weight loss program that end without success. The reason that none of these weight loss methods seem to work is because in order to stay with a program, you have to enjoy it. It has to be safe as well.

You can lose weight without throwing out your favorite food or spending countless hours in the gym and here are 5 genuine tips to help. Realistically, any weight loss program will take time. If anyone promises you different, they are either not being completely honest or are simply uninformed. the best way to test your results is to follow one weight loss program for 30 days, whatever it may be. Move on to to something else if you have to. In the meantime, check out several tips to getting started today.

Tip # 1
Walking. You can strengthen your legs and heart as well burn some calories in the process just by setting aside 30 minutes each day to enjoy a leisurely stroll.

Tip # 2
Use a mini cycle. These portable little exercise units offer the look of bicycle pedals set up on a metal bar, but without the high price or weight of a standard exercise bike. Anywhere you can comfortably sit and reach the pedals like on a couch or at your desk is where you can use the mini cycle.

Tip # 3
Instead of taking the elevator, take the stairs. This is a terrific weight loss exercise without even noticing the extra effort. Something as simple as a few extra steps every day can go a long way where weight loss is concerned. Park in the middle of the parking lot and walk to the store the next time you go shopping. It is tempting to park in the closest space to the door but opt to walk instead and don't park in that closest spot.

Tip # 4
Eat your favorite foods in moderation instead of cutting them out all together. No single food will prevent you from losing weight unless that food is all that you eat. For instance, simply limit your intake to one candy bar or, if you are being really careful, a miniature candy. There is no reason to cut out your favorite food when a conservative amount of the things we love can still have a place in our lives, including during the times that we are focusing on weight loss.

Tip # 5
Set aside a certain amount of time each day for exercise no matter what you do. Individuals who set a routine are much more likely to stay with it and find success than those who simply exercise whenever they have time. The goal to successful weight loss is to make time.

21/F 53kg
I have a congential fusion in my neck, back pain, irritable bowel. i want to get an exercise bike as i have read that it can improve back pain and strengthen your back. i don`t want to loose weight. i was to feel fit and healthy, strengthen my back, my legs and keep my bowel healthy. is the exercise bike the right thing to go for. i walk to work each morning and night when its a nice day it makes it hard when its cold and raining outside to get outside and go for a walk. i would find it easier inside in the comfort of my own home. i can really do running and i can`t jar my neck and back. i thought cycling would be something safe and easy to do?? any suggestions would be great xx
