Tech Talk RMS versus Peak Power: Peak power is measured by a brief musical burst (such as a crashing cymbal) and refers to the maximum amount of power that a device can produce from such a burst. However, a more reliable specification is RMS (root square mean) power, which measures the maximum continuous power that an audio device can produce. With a higher RMS figure, your music will sound cleaner as well as louder. What's in the Box One car stereo subwoofer Dual DS12 12" Subwoofer |

The Ford Flex, available since 2009, comes standard in 2010 with the same sequential multi-port electronic fuel injected 3.5L V6 Duratec Engine. Additionally, 2010 models now offer a more powerful, yet economical EcoBoost version, a direct injected twin-turbo V6 powered engine. This new engine technology offers plenty of power while holding true to what consumers consider to be most valuable; fuel economy.
Flex's non-turbo engine offers optional AWD or FWD. Paired with a 6 speed automatic transmission, the Flex puts out 248 pounds of torque at 6,250 RPMs. Horsepower is rated at 248 at 4,500 RPMs. The new EcoBoost enhanced engine, available only in AWD, ups the torque dramatically to 355 at 5,700 with an increased horsepower output of 350 at only 3,500 RPMs.
Ford Flex's base engine comes with a single stainless steel exhaust with two catalytic converters. The EcoBoost enhanced engine upgrades to a chrome tipped, dual stainless steel exhaust. Cast Aluminum is used for both engine block type and cylinder head material.
Gas mileage for the base FWD 3.5L V6 is 17 city/24 highway, while AWD Additionally models are 16 city/22 highway. The faster, equally economical turbo charged AWD model will not break the bank for gas mileage, achieving the equivalent of gas mileage as the non-turbo version, at 16 city/ 22 highway.
Although new to the Ford Flex, the EcoBoost enhanced engine appeared in 2009, used in the Lincoln MKS sedan. EcoBoost technology is promising, offering surprisingly higher output and excellent fuel economy. Designed to deliver an astonishing 20-30 percent increase in fuel economy over standard, perhaps sluggish, non-turbo displacement engines, Flex's EcoBoost option should be a treat for any owner.

milkor MGL Mk one forty mm grenade launcher - South Africa
The Milkor MGL 6-shot 40mm grenade launcher is the world's first industrially produced multi-shot 40mm hand-held weapon. Developed by the South-African company Milkor, it entered production in 1983, and served with South-African Countrywide Defense Forces for at least 20 years. Since the 1996, an improved version of the basic design entered the production, it has been chosen MGL Mk.1. The Milkor MGL is also employed by more that 20 other nations around the world. Milkor MGL offers important firepower increase, compared to US-made M79 single shot 40mm launcher. The rapid-fire capacity ( 6 shots in less that three seconds) is important in ambush situations and in quick-pacing urban warfare. The Milkor Mk.1 is now available for export, and a nearly precise copy of Mk1, is made in Croatia by the RH Alan company as RGB-6. The latest alterations of the Mk.1 launcher, which are made in South Africa and offered in USA with permission by Milkor are the Milkor Mk.1S and Milkor MK-140. These two launchers differ from original Mk.1 by having stronger, chrome steel frame (as opposed to the original aluminum frame ), as well as by having 4 Picatinny-type accessory rails round the barrel. The variation between Mk.1S and Mk-140 is the length of the cylinder - while Mk.1S keeps the first cylinder, the Mk-140 has a longer cylinder, which can accommodate a greater diversity of the less-lethal 40mm ammunition, which typically has longer warheads. Both types also fire all standard 40x46mm 'lethal' ammunition, including HE, HE-FRAG, HEDP and others.
The Milkor Mk.1 is a revolving type, hand held grenade launcher. The six-shot cylinder is rotated by the clockwork-type spring for each shot. Spring is wound manually in the reloading. For reloading, the rear part of the frame (along with the pistol grip) is unlocked and then rotated sideways round the top strut of the frame, till the chambers in the cylinder are exposed for reloading. Once cylinder is reloaded, the rear part of the frame is rotated back and locked into position. The double-action firing mechanism has a manual safety above the pistol grip. All Mk.1 launchers are fitted with the red-dot type sight, with range scale. Modern versions, M.1S and Mk.1L, also be fitted with other sorts of sighting equipment, using Picatinny rail on the pinnacle of the barrel. The top folding shoulder stock has a rubber recoil pad.
I don't remember ever seeing these videos of the Milkor MGL grenade launcher on Youtube before, so I have spliced them together and uploaded them. The MGL is a repeating 40mm grenade launcher that uses a revolver-style magazine. It can fire any NATO low-velocity 40mm grenade, and has a 6-round capacity. It's rate of fire is approximately the equivalent of 60rpm, when rapid firing. The MGL has been exported and/or built with permission in at least 30 countries, including the United States of America, who ... Great MGL systems from M-32
