Have you ever been playing Modern Warfare 2 and watched a replay of yourself getting killed by a player using a sniper rifle who seemingly "guessed" that we was aiming at you? These kills will generally be near to mid-range kills (not traditional sniper kills). Have you ever wondered how in the world the other player did that? Most people assume this is a hack, but in fact it is not. It is a tactic that many experienced players employ called "quick scoping."
What is Quick Scoping?
Quick scoping refers to the tactic of quickly aiming down the sight or scope of a weapon and firing almost instantly. Generally, sniper rifles are the weapon of choice for quick scopers, but in reality and gun equipped with an ACOG or telescopic sight may be used. Sniper rifles are preferred because of their powerful nature. This tactic is usually employed only by experienced gamers as it is a very difficult (but by no means impossible) skill to master.
How Does it Work?
The basic concept is as follows: the player quickly presses the aim/zoom button so that he is aiming halfway down the scope. As soon as the scope appears white, the accuracy of the gun is improved dramatically (when compared to hip firing). This effect is particularly strong with sniper and bolt-action rifles - the hip fire accuracy becomes the cross hair accuracy (when zoomed in), which allows the player to achieve highly accurate shooting with minimal time spent aiming/zooming.
How Do I Set Up My Build-Out to Quick Scope?
Beyond selecting a gun that is equipped with a scope, there are a number of steps that need to be taken in order to maximize your quick scoping effectiveness. The first component we will look at is sensitivity.
When considering what sensitivity you want to set your controller to when quick scoping, there is a little leeway. You want to make sure that you can have very quick reactions, but you also want to be sure you are still able to reasonably control your character. I would recommend setting your sensitivity to no lower than a 7, but you may go all the way up to 10 if you are comfortable.
What button layout you choose to use for quick scoping is also also a very important component to your success. Tactical is generally the preferred choice among top gamers as it allows the player to get down and pop back up very quickly, which minimizes exposure to enemy fire. You can be successful with any button layout, but getting comfortable with the tactical layout will in the end make quick scoping much easier. It will take some time to get used to if you are currently playing with the default layout, but like I said, in the end the change to tactical will be worth it.
Conclusion
In the end, quick scoping is not an instant recipe for success. It is a very difficult strategy to master. The only way you will become proficient is through hours of practice. Take the advice here and combine it with videos available on the internet demonstrating quick scoping and you will eventually get the hang of it.

How To Improve Your Braking At The Track With Brembo Brakes
Check out more at The Brembo Store here.
All Brembo kits are available in red, silver, black, or yellow calipers. We can do custom colors at $400 per axle. Rotors are available in your choice of drilled or slotted. We recommend slotted for the track guys.
When engineering Brembo's calipers, they take into account the use of the OEM rear brakes and design the piston bore to be specific for that cars braking bias, weight, and overall needs. The front 6piston kit is a monoblock design to improve rigidity over the stock caliper for a more responsive pedal feel. The kit is available in a 355mm or 380mm rotor. The caliper weighs only 1lb more then the stock 4piston design. The 380mm kit requires 19 inch wheels with such a massive rotor. It is not required to get the rear kit, but will improve braking performance overall.
All Brembo big brake kits include street pads, steel braided brake lines, 2 piece floating rotors with patented McLaren hardware, calipers, brackets, and ONLY at Vivid Racing, Brembo brake fluid. Now for you guys that are going to do some track racing, get rid of those street pads and Vivid Racing can substitute them for track pads from Porterfield, Ferodo, or Pagid on the 4 and 6piston calipers. The same engineering that goes into the race team brakes and the OEM brakes can be equated to what is on these GT kits. The patented McLaren hardware is only used on Brembo kits and this allows the rotor to have a true center line for better pad wear, improved heat dissipation, and overall longer rotor life. The increased veined rotors also help tremendously reduce brake fade. Each 355mm rotor saves about 7lbs of rotational weight per corner. Other companies try to replicate the hardware with a nut and bolt. This does have the weight reduction of a 2pc rotor, but because it is not a "true floating" design, this causes the aluminum brake hat to become a consumable item. Brembo rotors last about 3 times longer then OEM and 2 times longer then its competitors.
Vivid Racing is one of the largest Brembo brake dealers in the USA, proven fact. We stock all Porsche applications for same day shipping in all the available options. So what is available for the Porsche 996 Turbo and why should you run a Brembo Brake Kit?
For you racers buried in the snow, track season is upon us and it is time to get serious this year with improved braking. You are only as fast as you can stop. The further you dive into turns, the faster you come out. The only brake choice should be Brembo, and that is evident by the numerous professional racing teams that use Brembo and pay for their Brembo brake products.

yes, very good, but i agree, MOB griptape is the best, you can deal with some moisture if you have MOB, there are small holes(that make no difference for tricks) so if you get water on your board it will evaporate and wont warp your board
The BOSS Is Back In Town, Benchmarked Against BMW M3, Has FORD Done It?
I know, I know. We ran a story on the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 yesterday. But, we wanted to really point out that Ford has benchmarked this car against BMW's very own legend, the M3.
