If you are the type of person that hates having a lot of things to keep up with, MP3 sunglasses may be for you. In most cases, when you start combining things functionality tends to be compromised. With MP3 sunglasses my first thought is that they would take shortcuts with the sound quality. As you will find out in this review, Oakley Thump Pro's not only look good, but they sound great.
The more accessories you have to keep up with, the more likely you are to lose something. If you are like me, and tend to like to get higher quality goods, you really prefer not to lose any significant investments. It is stressful for me trying to keep up with my ipod, sunglasses, cellphone, wallet and keys everyday.
Being able to combine any of these accessories can significantly reduce the stress of keeping up with all of them.
Oakley has been refining their Thump sunglasses and the new Pro's are definitely an improvement in style over the originals. The glasses come in 1GB, 512MB and 256MB versions, having the digital player built into the frame, so there's no dangling wires to get in your way. A single charge gives you six hours of music and support for MP3, AAC, and WMA file formats. The Thump sunglasses are pretty easy to operate. There are three buttons on the right temple of the sunglasses, one in the middle for turning the Thump on and off, one in the front for advancing and fast-forwarding and another in the back for skipping back a track and rewinding. On the left side there are two buttons, one for increasing volume and another for decreasing.
Features:
- Adjustable speakers
- Sweat-resistant frames
- high-definition optics and UV-filtering
- Light weight
- Download music directly via USB cord
Some of the downfalls are that you can't really wear these at night or indoors since they are sunglasses and compared to other MP3 players like the iPod the price is kind of high. They start at $249 and go up to $349 for the 1 GB pair. If that doesn't scare you off, then these Oakley Thump Pro's might just be what you are looking for.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro Is An Impressive Handset
These days, many new phones are coming supplied with a full QWERTY keyboard, with manufacturers sensing that not everybody wants a touch screen phone. Therefore, Sony Ericsson has released the Vivaz Pro. This offers the same specifications as the popular Vivaz; however it sees the addition of a full QWERTY keyboard for efficient text entry.
If the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is an impressive mobile web browsing device. In areas covered by 3G, a HSDPA connection is utilised to provide an internet connection (alongside HSUPA). A much faster connection is available wherever a wireless internet router is located. Wi-Fi takes advantage of the signal given off by the router, offering an enhanced web browsing experience thanks to the faster connection. Class 10 EDGE and GPRS both provided the Vivaz Pro with its primary means of connection to cellular networks in areas with little or no 3G coverage. Both Bluetooth and USB connection allow the Vivaz Pro to be synced with other compatible hardware devices such as other phones and computers, allowing a number of tasks to be carried out.
With dimensions of 109x52x15mm, the Vivaz Pro remains a relatively compact phone despite its extra hardware from the keyboard. This coupled with its light weight of 117 grams makes the Vivaz Pro a comfortable phone to use with 2 hands when using the keyboard, or with one hand when using the touch screen for navigation of the user interface.
The Vivaz Pro features internal memory in the shape of 75 MB. This offers a good level of storage for data and files such as music tracks or video files. A micro SD slot is included for the same purpose, with a pre-installed 8 GB memory card. This can be increased though by swapping this for a larger memory card of up to 16 GB. The internal phonebook can store a seemingly endless number of contacts, and included the ever popular photocall feature. This allows a photo to be assigned to each contact, which is then displayed on screen whenever that person calls or is called.
The 3.2 TFT touch screen is capable of displaying up to 216M colours within a pixel layout of 360x640, giving a high level of display quality and clarity. As well as an effective method of navigating the user interface, the touch screen operates alongside a full slide out QWERTY keyboard, offering an efficient method of text entry.
A variety of additional features makes the Vivaz Pro a very functional handset for everyday use. A media player accommodates most types of music and video file formats, whilst a selection of pre-installed games and a stereo FM radio player are also provided to keep users entertained. Social networking applications offer direct access to popular sites such as Facebook and Twitter, so users can share their thoughts with the world.
One of the most appealing features of the Vivaz Pro is an impressive 5 mega pixel digital camera. This includes autofocus and LED flash in its package of supporting software, allowing quality images to easily be taken no matter what the lighting conditions.
The Vivaz Pro offers great technology for all kinds of mobile phone user, and is a great looking handset, a true asset to the Sony Ericsson range.

can lights , insulation & drafts ?
Have (4) 40W can lights I installed in ceiling under a low pitched roof( replaced old track lighting)
Installed after I had insulated the space & added vapor barrier.
The shallow space between roof & ceiling is vented.
Tight space & barely made the recommended clearances to combustible structure
Had to break into vapor barrier & push insulation away from cans per instructions .
Cold draft coming through the fixtures is incredible.
Is there a safe, approved method to check the drafts .
Advice from pros who actually know appreciated
Thanks
That's what I get for going to Home Depot.
If you can get the access, Pieces of 5/8" drywall. Build a box around the fixture. Also, it's more expensive but, they do make cans that you can put the insulation right up against.
After McNabb, then what? Beck joins Redskins QBs
Donovan McNabb has played all 16 games in a regular season only once in the last six years. For all his hard work to stay fit, there always seems to be something that causes him to miss a game. Or two. Or more. That makes the battle for the Washington Redskins' backup job more than just a curiosity.
