If you are pretty new to the world of cycling then you might be a bit nervous about getting out on longer rides for fear of the risk of punctures and not knowing how to change one. Whether racing or training a puncture will slow you down and disrupt your ride so getting them fixed quickly is of the greatest importance.
I personally never leave on a training ride without a couple of tubes, 3 tire leavers and a pump. Experience has taught me that it is wise to carry more than one tube as chances are if you only have one, you will get two punctures that day. When I am racing I don't bother taking anything with me as the race is pretty much lost if you puncture, no matter how quickly you can change it.
When you feel your wheel has punctured pull over to a safe location that you can work from and drop the wheel out of your frame using the quick release leavers. If the wheel hasn't completely gone down, unscrew the valve and let the remaining air out.
Take out your tire leavers and using the thin end of one of the leavers; slide it under the tire and leaver the tire onto the outside of the wheel rim, then hook the bottom end of the leaver onto the nearest spoke.
Slide your second tire leaver into the rim a few centimeters down from the first one and run it to the left the full circumference of the wheel. You should now have all one side of the tire hanging over the rim.
Push the valve up and through the hole in the wheel and remove the tube. Run a finger inside the tire checking for anything sharp that might puncture the next tube and then take out a new tube.
Push the valve of the new tube through the valve hole and then fold the tube inside the rim right the way around the tire. Be sure to check the tube isn't on the edge of the rim because the last thing that you want to do is nip the tube.
Once your tube is inside the rim then leaver the tire over the rim using your tire leavers. If you are changing the tube in a well worn tire then you might be able to do most of this with your fingers, however if it is a new tube then it could be very stiff and might take a little while to get completely in. Folding the final part of the tube is always a bit of a pain so you will have to use your tire leavers to fold the tire in.
Pump the tire up to the recommended level, reattach the wheel to the bike and give the wheel a spin, running a hand over the outside of the tire to check there are no stones on to re-puncture the tube.
Practice a few times in your home if you aren't sure how to do this, but once you work out how to do it you can change a roadside puncture in five minutes.

Remembrance of the Past
Today, we went to a race test which was related to eight hundred meters long, every time when we have to attend this exam, we will surely become very worried and at the same time, exhausted. This is a very tiring test, because it not only checks the physical condition of the certain student, the result has something to do with the emotional feelings of the people towards the test itself.
But at last, we finished this test, tired enough when we went back to the dorm room. The other two roommates in our room had this test last week, so when we were exhausted enough, they were surfing the Internet for some fun. Lying on the bed, many different kinds of thoughts came to my mind, the same as in former times when I finished this examination.
I came up with my former classmates during my short daydream, many from the former high school; they were having a PE class. At that time, the whole class went to attend the PE class together; we did the same exercise and enjoyed the same activities no matter for fun or for building our bodies, quite different from now, when we choose different kinds of classes to major in during the physical classes at the beginning of the new term.
I saw that girl, who sat behind my seat in the second grade in the high school; she was not good at PE. Maybe it was due to some genital things, she was a little fat, so whenever we went to do some quite exciting games, she would just sat aside and cheered for us. But now, she has already been dead, from the brain cancer. We had never thought that she would become the first, though death will surely come to us no matter when it is.

Unusual Symptoms...what could it mean?
Lately, I've had trouble with what feels like my left arm going numb. It can be paired with dizziness, sometimes my heart races. I had my heart checked out and they said it was fine, didn't come up with any other answers. There is no rhyme or reason to the numb feeling, although I do notice it more at night. Also, during the middle of the day (usually between 2 and 4, like clockwork) I feel dizzy, super tired, and usually nauseated. It's almost like morning sickness. I mentioned this to my doctor too, who did blood tests for diabetes. Still no answers. has anyone had anything like this?
well if it was just the numbness I would say maybe a pinched nerve. Besides that I would seek advice from either the same doctor again, or see a new one.
