The avid biker should always know and understand his or her mountain bike parts. This is an important base to comprehend the working of a mountain bike. Bikers usually blaze trails through lonely paths and knowing how the bike works helps one repair it immediately should anything go wrong. This article will take you through the basic parts of a mountain bike.
The frame of the bike represents its overall size. It is usually smaller in comparison to other road bikes. Most manufacturers customize bikes according to age and gender and you should always buy a bike that is comfortable to maneuver. The handlebars of a mountain bike are also different from the road bikes. They tend to be flat and are almost the span of the rider's shoulders. The important thing here is to ensure that the bars are at the right level. Most bikers prefer an upright position and you should ensure comfortable hand positions on the handlebars.
Another pair of important parts are the crank and the derailleur. The crank is at the bottom of the frame and has pedals on its tips on either side. The derailleur is used to shift gears on the mountain bike and is operated using the shifters at the handlebars. High quality derailleur increases the precision of shifting gears. The shifters are usually thumb shifters and are located on the top of the handlebars. Higher quality shifters include rapid fire and grip shifters.
The gear on most mountain bikes comes with specifications of 36 x 34. The gear helps bikers go uphill with good speed. Along with the gear, the brakes form an important part of the bike. You can choose from V-brakes or the newer disc brakes. You must also check the tires on your mountain bike. A good grip is essential on the tire if you want to navigate difficult terrain. Other than these the pedals should be sturdy and you can add a toe saddle if you like. This ensures that your feet won't slip out of the pedal while going on steep surfaces.

And the word double din means the size is 180 mm x 100 mm. Its just double the value of the before one.
How to install a double din monitor DVD?
The increase in size makes us comfortable to watch a film and also assists in navigation. Most of the cars produced today have the facility to install a double din monitor. Except for the size there is no other difference bet this and another stereo system. There are a few tools that will help us to finish this job and it includes a Flat head screw driver, a double din head unit, wire cutters and crimpers and also a kit to assist us.
The first step is to press the break and then turn on the keys. Then change the column shifter to position 1. then the bezel that is surrounding the dash board is pulled of. Then keep the removed portion away and park the car. Then after that turn the engine off.
The next step is to remove the stereo from the dash board by removing the bolts. And also one has to remove the connecting wire coming the antenna as well as from the dash board. Now the dash kit is inserted in the dash board and the cage that comes with the din is slid inside the dash board. Securely fix the cage using a flat head screw driver.
In the next step the vehicle's wiring is placed side by side with the wiring harness that comes along with the instrument while buying it. The next job to be done is connecting the wires having corresponding colors as well as label on them. In order to connect these wires first a quarter inch of the wire insulation s removed with the help of a wire stripper. In the same way remove the insulation for the other wires also and after that connect them accordingly.
After finishing the above step one has to connect the wiring harness of the dash board and the wiring harness of the vehicle's specific. Now let the cable suspend from one end of the cage. A GM antenna is plugged into the factory antenna lead.
Now connect the wiring from the double din and the antenna into the stereo unit's back side. Now slowly insert the stereo into the dash board until a double click is heard. This ensures that the stereo is back in its place. Now the bezel is placed back in the reverse order of how it was removed.
Thus it is very essential for a person to know how to install a double din monitor dvd.

Its a bit of a mongrel. Although the suspension arrangement is viable, the spring looks like it came out of a matress.
The gears are OK and those look like RST forks. The disc is probably after market. I would haggle. It is OK, but not great and you could probably do better. Custom paint job? (Afternoon in the back garden with a tin of white paint). what frame damage is this hiding?
Shop about before deciding on this machine.

Outdoor movies are still doing business, although it takes some mileage to reach them
Twenty years ago the Syracuse New Times performed a public service to the community by publishing “Drivin’ to the Drive-In,” an ode to the ozoners that were still in operation in the Central New York area, with mentions of the four Syracuse-based drive-ins—DeWitt, Lakeshore, North and Salina—that all bit the dust during the 1980s.
