How many times have you had a great ride only to finish up with sore wrists and other aches?
One of the main reasons for this can be as simple as not being in a proper comfortable riding position. The trouble with manufactured products is that they are all the same whilst bodies are not. It's surprising really, with the development of motorcycle engineering, how few manufacturers do not design in adjustability to the riding position. How then can you expect to be perfectly comfortable on a factory made machine unless it has been tailored to your size?
This is a problem for all motorcycle riders and BMW motorcycles while they may be "The ultimate Riding Machine" as they once quoted, are still subject to the same one size fits all problem.
One size does not fit all
The fact is that one size does not fit all and that's where handlebar risers got started. This was an attempt to tailor the bike to different sizes of people. It was also an attempt to satisfy different preferred riding positions. Some riders like to lean forward on the bike and others like to sit in a more upright position.
The problem
One of the problems with aftermarket risers is that they are all made with only one choice. You have the choice of having the bike original or with the riser. If you do buy a pair of risers to try to make the bike fit your preferred riding position and get it wrong you are out a pair of risers and still uncomfortable so you still finish your ride with aches and pains. What if you could get adjustable risers? Risers that you could move around and set in exactly the right place to fit you and your perfect riding position?
The solution
This is the problem that bugged Dave Flood who set about to make risers that could be moved around and set in the exact spot to match riding style and give riding comfort.
Being an engineer as well as a rider he knew what he was looking for and made many a prototype until he got it right for him. Then he showed his bars to other riders in the San Diego Riders Club who immediately wanted bars like that too and so IDI Designs was born.
Now Dave is offering his bars to all BMW K1300R&S, K1200R&S and R1200S owners. Yes, it's a pity that Dave's bars only fit those models but he has plans to make more bars to fit other machines depending on what riders say.
The result
Dave, and the others who have fitted his bars all say they make a difference to their "after ride aches". This is because they can be set just right, making wrist stress and arm ache virtually a thing of the past. He also makes a swept back version of his bars which is very popular with bikers who say these really make for a more comfortable ride on twisty or mountain roads.

Extra Wide Shower Faucets– these are wider than the usual diameter (similar to the rain shower faucet) which provides a different shower experience covering a larger part of the body unlike the narrower shower faucets.
Multiple Shower Faucets – these have multiple spray effects to choose from. You can regulate the pressure, distance, and speed of the water released from the head.
Adjustable Shower Faucets - can be adjusted for wide and softer sprays or strong and more concentrated sprays depending on the shower experience you desire.
Body Spray Shower Faucets – these are installed around the shower area aimed at various body parts, usually at shoulder level, the hips, waist, knees, and thighs for a thorough rinse.
Hand-held Shower Faucets – these shower heads are mounted on slide bars and brackets and are detachable.
