One great way for you to ensure the strength of your body for cycling so that you don't have a weak link is by executing the kettlebell suitcase dead lift. This is an exercise that looks just like the name sounds. To pull this drill off you will need the availability of at least a single bell of moderate to heavy intensity. Begin by standing with your feet at about shoulder width distance apart in length. Place the bell beside your foot just outside of your ankle.
From here you are going to perform a squat to descend down to grab the bell and pick it up like a suitcase, hence the name. As you stand up make sure not to lean to the loaded side that you are lifting the bell on. Make sure to keep both your shoulders and hips as square as possible. This is a great way to individually load one side of your body at one time to maximize the strength in that side.
This drill can also be used with a pair of bells for heavier lifting. The suitcase dead lift is great for cycling leg power. ritchey pro comp clipless pedal rebuild?
does anyone know where i can get instructions on rebuilding ritchey pro comp clipless mtb pedals? i went to ritcheys web site and it was useless.
i know these pedals are rebuildable, it was one of the features of the pedal
They might not be intended for rebuild... sealed etc.
But, if they are rough and grimy, you might be able to drill a very tiny hole in the seal and squirt some grease in.
