Will this crack a carbon fiber hood?
I'm thinking of getting a carbon fiber hood for my car. I know if they are hit with a direct force (like a hammer) they tend to crack. I live in NJ so anyone from here knows the roads are mainly shitty, especially on the way to the shore, which I travel a lot. If i am doing about 75-85mph, if a rock flies up and hits the hood, what would be the chance of it cracking or any form of damage at all?

It's pretty unlikely that it would crack it. Generally it won't leave a mark. If it is an exceptionally large rock it may leave a dent or possibly put a little chip in it. The good thing is, this is relatively easy to fix if it does happen.
