The Aston Martin DB7 Zagato An Instant Hit
The classic Zagato line from Aston Villa had an addition with the 2003 DB7. The DB7 was first unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concourse and immediately was a hit with the car world as the DB7 carries on with the classic Zagato tradition with its exsquisite look, sleek design style, and ultimate performance. The DB7 Zagato is one of the premier automobiles that Aston Villa has ever produced.
The interior of the DB7 Zagato is ultimate class as it features a special, just for the DB7 model, aniline leather trim and door trim that was modified so that it would match the high waistline. Putting integrated shifters/brakes on a older roadbike?
I have an older Trek road bike. The shift levers are the old ones that are on the frame and not the handlebars. Is it possible to install integrated shifters/brakes on the bike?
Tom is right about the difficulty finding integrated shifters with the right number of speeds.
But here is a possibly better idea: barcons. Barcons, short for bar end controls, are essentially the same as your downtube shifters, but are in the ends of the drop bars. Touring cyclists have sworn by them for decades for good reason. They are simple and plain work. You would still need the cable housing stops that attach to the bosses of your old shifters. Talk to the folks at Rivendell bicycles. This is right up their alley.
Just noticed that they even make little stops the go in the end of the bar so that you can attach your current shifters! This leaves your brakes alone and minimizes allows you to fix any single thing rather than worrying about the combos where if one thing is bad, it's likely to be at least 2 things gone bad.
