Yesterday I watched a documentary on Discovery Channel, talking about Artificial Intelligence and its impact and diffusion in society. Could Mother Earth really cope with extra billions of people, could Mother Earth really cope with people who reach easily the 100+ due to all new technologies?
What's the meta-benefit in its true core essence that we'll have machines (be it internal or external) that are much smarter than us? (in 2050 computer processors have the capability of nine trillion human brains in computing power)
Where's the respect for the cosmic and natural path of living beings?
I'm still trying to grasp the path humanity has chosen and what the reasons are for that. The future will be certainly exciting, even if the Cyborg society comes to reality, all new kinds of challenges and issues will need to be addressed.
