Are all three bolt cleats compatible with SPD SL and LOOK?
I have been looking for clipless pedals for my road bike and wasn't sure whether all shoes with three bolt systems were compatible with both LOOK and SPD SL.
Which type are better for an intermediate commuter/enthusiast.

for shoes yes the spd-sl and look three bolt patterns are compatable. the cleats are not compatable with other pedals. look was the first to use the wedge three bolt cleat system. either is good system. i use the look pedal/cleat set-up. see which set-up is lighter and cheaper thats the one to get. usually the look set-up.
A bike shoe good enough for walking
