Cordura Jackets Vs Leather jackets?
Ok so i just bought a ninja and i have a cordura jacket that came with the bike, it does ok with keeping the cold out and has those crappy foam pads in the back, shoulders, and elbows. i've been looking at leather jackets but the prices are too high of a good one. So should i buy a better cordura(textile) jacket or spring for leather, i know leather has better protection against road rash but i ride in the rain alot too and that supposedly lowers the jackets resistance to it... So what should i do? I need a waterproof jacket that holds in heat well and holds up in a crash too.
haha good luck with that ive been looking for a jacket to do all that for years ive got 2 jackets one for rain and one for summer use the cordura is best for rain and cold weather but u lay ur bike down with it on and u might as well throw it out the leather is best in dry weather and holds up great to road rash i have joe rocket's jackets there pretty resonably priced and offer great protection mine both have the carbon kevlar blended plates in the spine, elbow/forearm, and shoulder areas i dont think they make my specific model anymore though but id check them out good luck
