Question about bike tires?
I bought a 3.0 Avalanche All-terrain bike about 3 months ago and i've been riding it nearly every day. My tires never popped or anything, or even lost air, but last night I was riding my bike and I went through a dirt patch for about 10 seconds, before I was back on the street.
For a bike that's 600$, a little plant thorn popped my tires? Are their bike tires out there that are stronger? I figured my tires were, being that it's all terrain but I guess not. I'm pretty bummed out especially since that was my only way to a friends house last night..
To be exact, it's an 3.0 Avalanche GT.
They make tire liners and also tubes with gel inside to protect against flats. I would also think about going tubeless. Much stronger rubber. Happy trails
Hellertown boy hurt when bicycle runs into truck
