You do NOT put a $400+ fork on any bike to add comfort for your wrists, that is NOT the reason for a fork of this type. (if I am understanding your question the way I read it) The lighter a fork gets the more the price goes up. The forks you are looking at are all in the $350+ price range anyway. What type of bike are you wanting to put this on anyway? No fork will save your wrists, your handling of the bike properly will!
