i feel my partner of 7 years is being really selfish we are not in a pennyless situation but we are tightening our purse strings at the mo i have got a new job but it is only part time he thinks it is ok to go buy a £280 quad bike even tho the area we live in doesnt have a track he helps out with the housework but if i ask him to do something on his day off he says its his day off he has things planned do you think i am unreasonable to ask him to give me a few hours on my own to have my "day off" and not to spend rediculas amounts of money on a mans toy we dont need and it doesnt even work its a broken one he says he wants to fix up and sell on but we need the money for other things now not in 6 months time when he realises he cant fix it and looses money on it we have 2 scooters in the shed waiting to be "fixed up" and sold on please help what do i say every day i tidy up look after our daughter and now im starting a new job he says he earns the money so he should spend it
