Shopping for Velobind Binding strips can be very confusing. Many people have seen this product but don't realize that there are actually several types of strips that accomplish a similar look and feel. However, when you go to buy strips for your Velo Bind machine you are expected to know what kind you need. This article is designed to provide a quick overview of the four main types of Velobinding Strips.
1. Hot Knife (11 Pin): The first type of Velobind strip is hot knife. These 11 pin hot knife strips are used by the System One, V800pro, System Two and System Three Pro. The Machine takes the comb (the part with the pins sticking out) and rivets it to the receiving strip using heat. This provides a permanent and secure bind with an extremely professional look. These are available in a number of different colors and can also be purchase in 8.5" lengths and in 14" lengths for legal sized binding.
2. 4 Pin Recloseable: The second most common type of Velobind strip is the 4 pin Recloseable Velobind strip. These four pin strips are designed for use with the GBC Velo Bind V110e punch and with the V50 punch (now discontinued). With GBC 4 Pin Recloseable Strips the excess part of the comb simply snaps into the back of the receiving strip making it easy to edit your books and documents later. Four pin Velobind strips offer the look and feel of GBC Velo binding without the need to purchase an expensive new hotknife machine.
3. 6 Pin Recloseable: Six Pin GBC binding strips were designed for use with the now discontinued GBC Personal Velobind System. These strips consist of a comb with six small pins that snap into the receiving strip (just like the four pin strips).
4. One Eleven: GBC One Eleven Velobind Strips are designed for use with the One Eleven 111 Velobinder. These manual compression Velobinding strips have unique serrated binding prongs to ensure a permanent and secure bind. GBC One Eleven Binding strips are available in black only and in two different sizes.
In addition to these four different types of Velo Bind Strips GBC also makes SureBind strips which work in an identical fashion to the Velobind 11 Pin Hot Knife strips but have ten pins designed to line up with the hole pattern for comb binding. These strips are less common than traditional Velo strips and are slightly wider.

Greek marbles industry
The stone processing sector is comprised of large industrialized establishments operating quarries, medium companies cutting blocks into tiles, companies producing kitchen sink tops, companies processing stone decoration and small workshops processing onyx handicrafts.
The development of stone industry could be attributed to the fast growth of the construction sector mainly in Athens region along with the increase of living standard and economic development
The construction of high rise office buildings, hotels and apartments as well as private housing projects have boosted the interest to invest in the stone processing industry
As we mentioned,stone companies are located all over the country,although the highest concentration is in six areas:
the Drama – Kavala – Thassos region,currently Greece´s most important marble district,where there are white and white-grey marbles of excellent quality (like Thassos White);
the Kozani – Veria area,which produces white,semi-white and colored marbles;
the Loannina district,from which most of the beige materrials so widely used inbuilding come;
the Larissa – Velos -Pilion region, whose white,grey,pink and black marbles are well-known;
theAthens region,the oldest production area in the country, where until twenty years ago the famous Pentelico White was extracted,now farmed only in the Dionyssos zone in a variety that takes this name;
the Argolis region,one of the most recent and most dynamic areas of stone industrialization,rich in beige,brown and red materials

Trek 1200 with computer: worth how much???
I have a 2006 Trek 1200 that I am wanting to sell but I'm not sure how much to sell it for. It is red, silver, and black, has absolutely NO scrathes at all on it, has a Cateye Velo 8 computer, Shimano Tiagra shifters, Shimano 105 derailleurs, Wellgo clipless pedals, Shimano shoes, and two custom painted water bottle holders (one black and one silver) to match the paint scheme. I just put Bontrager Select tires on it last fall. If you have a ballpark estimate tell me please!!
Also, if you want to see the color scheme to my bike here is a link to a 2006 that is the same color as mine.

If it's in like new condition, and it sounds like is, I would say it should go for about 70% of the new cost. So if it was $600.00 new, it would go for around $420.00 plus or minus. In general, the extras won't add too much to the price since they may not appeal to the new owner (like the shoes for instance).
Good luck selling!
