Works, somewhat expensive
Bought 3 of these for my bikes to mount my Garmin Forerunner 305. Each comes with mount and 4 zip ties. It worked on my bikes with round handlebars but wasn't compatible with my FSA K-Wing handlebar, which was flat at the mount point. Amazon has the lowest price but $10 for a piece of plastic and some ties is kind of expensive.

Works fine
I'm only writing this review because Amazon asked. The bike mount works fine. I haven't had any problems with it. I use it on a mountain bike where it gets lots of abuse. It has never lost the Forerunner except when I have hit it with my body in a fall. I can't blame that on the mount - I shouldn't be hitting it.

Survived the Slickrock Trail
I finished the slickrock trail in Moab, Utah this past weekend and wanted to measure my progress with my Forerunner 205. I was a little apprehensive about taking my GPS because of the roughness of the trail and the possibility of my Garmin popping out and either breaking or getting lost. 3 hours later the GPS is still there and the Quick Release did its job even through a rather rough crash. And even though my elbow has a nasty scrape from the sandstone, the Garmin looks as good as ever. I would definitely recommend this Quick Release to anyone wanting to attach their Forerunner 205/305 to their bikes.

This actually works
I like this idea. Now my Forerunner 305 can be used both on the bike and (with the wrist adaptor I also purchased) when I run. I bought three - one for the road-bike, one for the mountain bike, and one for the tri-bike. The Garmin can handle and records separate for all three bikes.
I jury-rigged it so it sits on the stem and it works well - I crossed the "zippies" versus through the slots where you would normally mount it on the bar. I like it better on the stem.
ONLY ONE CAUTION - if you do what I did and stem-mount it, make sure that the metal watch stems sit tight inside the end clips when you put it on the bike or you'll "launch" the garmin (like I did the first time I tried it) when you hit a bump in the road or a seam in the pavement. The garmin is a tough litle bugger and took the "hit" though.

Save the wrist
Now able to mount my Garmin on the bar vs. my wrist and having to let go of the bar to see exactly how slow I'm going or how lost I am. The only down side is you MUST make sure the watch is firmly snapped in the craddle or it will go flying when you hit the first big bump.

Bridgestone Trailwings - Whats the deal?
I have a Suzuki DRZ400s - Which i love despite it spitting me off round corners... twice. Im currently running a Pirelli road legal nobbilies which are great off road, but not so hot on tarmac. I've had the front right to the edge, and the rear one nobble away but they are no good in the wet. I now don't use the bike off road as much so fancy a go on a compromise tyre (i have considered supermotoing it up).
The sticker on the bike recommends Bridgestone Trailwings. I've searched the net for this, and the first result Google threw up was about "Death wings".
I have heard they are good on loose gravel / dry mud.
I appreciate they are never going to be as good as the Bridgestones im running on my Bandit, but are they really that bad?
Trailwings suck IMO. I prefer the Dunlop 606. Very aggressive nobs that will let you still grind pegs on dry tarmac, they will scoot around on wet pavement though but what tire won't on a bike. They do make alot of noise too, but they will take you everywhere.
